Emergency cash – это дополнительная услуга для держателей пластиковых карт по экстренной выдаче наличных при утрате карты за границей. Средства предоставляются в объеме до 2 тыс. долларов США по классическим картам и до 5 тыс. долларов по золотым (эквивалент суммы в местной валюте), но не больше доступного баланса по карте. Деньги можно получить в любой стране мира в одном из пунктов выдачи наличных банка, где обслуживаются карты данной платежной системы. Для этого держателю необходимо назвать свои имя, фамилию и код, который ему сообщит банк, выпустивший карту. Экстренная выдача денег производится только после получения подтверждения от эмитента о наличии средств у клиента. Сумму должны выдать в течение суток, но строгого соблюдения сроков никто не гарантирует. Плата за пользование данной услугой у всех банков разная. При экстренной выдаче наличных также возможно удержание комиссии за снятие денежных средств в соответствии с тарифами кредитной организации.
